Q: Directors Mortgage is well known in the northwest for excellence in lending and outstanding customer service. While this is a noted achievement, what else is important to you and your company?

A: I am so glad that you asked that question because Directors Mortgage is very engaged in the communities we serve and we embrace the belief that community matters most. Our proudest moments have been for the honors that we have received for corporate philanthropy. Last year we ranked #1 on the Portland Business Journal’s list for most generous small companies. This year, due to the growth of our business we stepped up to the classification of a medium sized company with revenues of 50 million. We increased our donations more than 15% from the previous year. Directors Mortgage is honored to be recognized at the #2 spot for this year’s medium sized companies for corporate philanthropy. As our giving increases so does our heart for our communities and our responsibility to continually support the communities which have enabled us to be successful. We are especially proud to support Providence Hospital system, Special Olympics, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, the American Cancer Foundation and the Oregon Food Bank. In addition to being a partner of the Portland Trail Blazers and the Seattle Sounds soccer team we also support many elementary and high school sport and academic events. While we consider Directors Mortgage to be the very best local choice for lending, we believe that it is the service and support we give to our communities that makes us a great company. In addition we continue to have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau for providing an unsurpassed level of customer service.
