Who knew that October was going to turn into the most fashionable month of the year? This coming Friday the second annual Portland Architecture + Design Festival is expanding their reach by holding the Form Function Fashion Show. A fantastic way to increase the outreach beyond the traditional building lover to all the style lovers obsessed with geometry, line and garment construction. And they have pulled out the big guns as far as an inaugural show with designers Liza Rietz, Adam Arnold, Dawn Sharp, Emily Ryan and Sword + Fern. My one early critique of the show is it is being held in the Center for Architecture space which limits the show to 100 tickets. Eeek! With those designers they could fill a space quadruple that. I’m already safely on the guest list but you had better act quickly if you want to see this show, and I think that you do….
