With over three dozen farmers’ markets in the Portland metro area, our community has access to produce and artisan foods fresh from local farms, ranches, and kitchens every day of the week throughout most of the growing season. Although a growing number of year-round markets have made the colder months a bit more bearable, enthusiasts celebrate the spring opening of local markets with all the pomp and revelry of a major national holiday.
To make sure you don’t miss opening day of your local market, we’ve compiled a list of regional markets and their launch dates. Get your baskets and reusable bags ready, because the season is about to begin.
