It still costs $20 to check a bag on Alaska Airlines, but at least your wine flies free thanks to a new partnership with Washington Wine Country.

The new Taste and Tote program lets Alaska Airlines passengers traveling to Walla Walla, Yakima, or the Tri-Cities check their first case of wine free. Plus tasting fees are waived at participating wineries when visitors show their Alaska Airlines boarding pass. And if, you choose to rent a car through Enterprise, you won’t be charged drop-off fees if you’re flying on Alaska.

First launched in Walla Walla in late 2011, the Taste and Tote program expands to the Yakima and Tri-Cities airports beginning in September.

Need some help deciding which Walla Walla wineries (and restaurants and hotels) are worth your time? We’ve got you covered here.
