SE Division: The second brick-and-mortar outpost of Japanese import Shigezo—dubbed Yataimaru according to signs in the window—will debut next to Little Big Burger on Wednesday, January 30th. The new eatery is smaller by half than the restaurant's downtown location, and will offer lunch (Monday through Friday from 11:30 to 2:30), dinner (Sunday through Thursday from 5 to 10, Friday and Saturday 5 to 11), and nightly happy hour from 4 to 6 and 9 to close. 3810 SE Division St.
SE Stark: Former Broder kitchen maven Susie McWilliam's Redwood is now open in the former Bangkok Bites space, serving cocktails and upscale seasonal comfort food like pot roast with fried onions, pork shoulder with apple fritters, fried brussels sprouts, roasted beet salads, trout with charred poblano vinaigrette, and paprika-stewed chicken.
