She’s always good for a restaurant recommendation or a good-natured lecture on why you should be eating more sauerkraut. She is the power behind the magazine’s newest blog, the Balance, where she shares health tips, fitness trends, and the best gluten-free cupcakes.
Since joining the magazine in 2011, the California native and Reed College graduate has sipped her way through several years of Portland Monthly’s annual list of the 50 Best Oregon Wines, fallen in love with the Pacific Northwest’s farmers markets, bookstores, yoga studios, and hiking trails, and written over 1000 articles on regional edibles, potables, and a long list of things every Oregonian—native or new—must do.
