Portland Monthly and The Forest Park Conservancy fired up the grills and took over the Pearl for “A Picnic for Forest Park” on August 12. Chefs dished out gourmet barbeque for guests to enjoy and competed for the people’s choice title of Sauce Champion. Fine wines and local micro-brews were poured to pair with the yummy dishes. Our sponsors held a variety of activities to keep guests and kids engaged. Music filled the air from the Kink FM Stage. At the end of the day the votes were tallied and Chef Gregg Abbot of Whiffies Fried Pies was named our Sauce Champion!
