The challenge: 70 photographers, 70 locations, and 1 full day to get the best shot. The annual PDX Squared Photography contest brought out beginner and professional photogs for a 24-hour photo contest on May 16th. Contestants arrived at Studio 3 and were assigned a random location to shoot, given several categories in which they could submit their work, from series style to portraiture to the best shot using a Lensbaby effect lens. Contestants were given gear to work with, 24 hours to shoot, including 3 hours worth of editing time on site before submitting their work. All work underwent a friendly critique session by a live judging panel while beer kegs were tapped and winners announced by the end of the final night. Here are the winning photos for each category!
