Attention food hounds: this week marks the kick-off of Portland Dining Month. Throughout the month of June, scores of top PDX chefs will offer 3 course meals for just $29.
The killer list of participating restaurants includes 85 of the city's top eateries (that's nearly double the number of Dining Month menus as 2012).
Diners will find prix fixe tasting menus in every quadrant, some offering app-entree-dessert options, a few boasting three savory dishes, and several offering choose-your-own-adventure menus to customize your meal.
Get hungry: We're giving away a gift certificate good for a pair of Dining Month dinners at Ned Ludd (that's a $58 value). To enter, click here! The contest is now closed.
Curious what chef Jason French has whipped up for Dining Month? Two of our lucky readers will win a top-shelf meal of pea soup with mint and a sumac crouton, shaved vegetable salad with sheep's cheese, seeds, and flowers, and herbed game hen with asparagus and potatoes. Good luck!
