THE BIG PICTURE
If you’ve ever been stuck at the traffic light at NE MLK & Alberta, you might have noticed a few sweaty faces peering down from a second-floor window. These are members of Me Fitness Studio, a friendly neighborhood gym with the amenities of an exclusive athletic club.
Walk past a vending machine stocked with healthy snacks—think roasted chickpeas and coconut water—to find the front desk. (Members use cards to swipe in 24/7 when the desk isn’t staffed.) Past the desk, you’ll find yoga studios, gravity machines, and a massage studio, as well as complimentary tea and a tiny retail store. Upstairs awaits the bulk of Me Fitness’s offerings, including cardio machines, free weights, kettle bells, TRX bands, and a 20-bike spin studio. Changing rooms, which include lockers and showers, are slated to be expanded and "spruced up" in the near future—although they're far from shabby at present. The studio even offers on-site physical therapy, nutrition counseling, and bodywork.
CLASSES FOR ALL
With more than 60 classes each week, there’s plenty here for every body. Along with the standard slate of yoga, spin, weights, and pilates, Me Fitness features a number of exclusive, dynamic classes worthy of a cross-city commute.
Fusion Classes: If pedaling or powerlifting for an hour sounds monotonous, mix up your workout with an engaging one-hour combo class:

- Shred & Spin: alternating 10-15 min. of spin with 5-10 min. of circuit
- X-Cycling: 30 min. of cycling + 30 min. of circuit training
30-Minute Blasts: Don’t have an hour to spare? Drop in for a half-hour “blast” of TRX, cycling or core work.
