Start summer with Walla Walla Valley’s largest wine event of the year, Celebrate Walla Walla Valley Wine – The World of Cabernet Sauvignon this June 13-15. Immerse yourself in wine festivities with over 60 Walla Walla Valley wineries, guest winemakers from the world's leading wine regions and esteemed speakers.
Less than four hours away from Portland, the rural charm and exquisite wines of the Walla Walla Valley await. Wind your way east along I-84 and experience the dramatic landscape of the Columbia Valley Gorge, carved by ancient floods whose impacts dramatically influenced the premier wine growing regions of the Northwest.
Upon arrival, don’t be alarmed if you’re the only car at a stoplight, everyone says hello to you on Main Street, or you stumble upon world-class cuisine, that’s all part of the charm. Leave your car parked at the hotel and take advantage of the free wine event shuttles, taste from over 30 wineries within the historic downtown, and stock-up on local produce at the Farmers Market.
The main event, Celebrate Walla Walla Valley Wine, is in its 7th year and offers the opportunity to participate in rare vintage tastings, reserve a seat at intimate winemaker dinners and compare and share the differences of the Walla Walla Valley with other leading wine regions around the world during wine panel presentations.
