Holiday Markets, Bazaars, and Pop-Ups in Portland

It’s not too late!

By Margaret Seiler December 17, 2025

The Portland Bazaar runs one more weekend for last-minute gift shopping.

So, you’ve made your list, you’ve checked it twice, and now it’s time to go forth and shop. We have a few favorite shops and handy, handheld suggestions for you, but why follow our advice when every weekend through New Year’s brings a new round of pop-up shops and holiday markets to the city? Here's what's caught our eye.

This Weekend

Portland Saturday Market

10am–5pm Sat, Dec 20 | Gov. Tom McCall Waterfront Park near Burnside Bridge

This Portland standby and reliable last-minute option for desperate Santas celebrated its 50th anniversary last year. Vendors can validate parking for SmartPark garages with a $25 purchase.

Holiday Crafts at Flavour Spot

11am–1pm Sat & Sun, Dec 20 & 21 | Western Meat Market parking lot, 4077 N Lombard St

Beloved North Portland waffle cart the Flavour Spot, which turns 20 (!) next year, hosts a DIY event where attendees can make their own wrapping paper, cards, origami dreidels, and ornaments. The cart will have free fruit and hot cocoa for kids, with its baked-to-order waffles available for purchase.

Trans Town Pop-Up Market

11am–3pm Sat, Dec 20 | Lloyd Center mall, across from Gifts from Afar

Find jewelry, ceramics, textiles, and more from trans artists and entrepreneurs in this pop-up community center at the mall.

The Portland Bazaar ends this weekend.

Portland Bazaar

11am–4pm Sat & Sun, Dec 20–21 | 1715 NW 17th Ave

It's the final weekend for this annual extravaganza with loads of local vendors.

Mall Rats Holiday Market

11am–6pm Sat, Dec 20 | Lloyd Center Mall

More than 40 artists and small businesses set up shop in the mall for this recurring event focused on community and connection over capitalism (but there's also capitalism happening, technically).

Native Made Winter Marketplace

11am–6pm Sat & Sun, Dec 20 & 21 | Lloyd Center Mall

The holiday iteration of this Native marketplace also brings some extra life into the not-dead-yet Lloyd Center Mall, along with the ice skaters, Santa Claus and Mall Rats. Find it in the former Ulta space, close to NE Halsey Street and 14th Avenue.

Pokemon Holiday Market

10am–2pm Sun, Dec 21 | Sun Rice, 4090 N Williams Ave

North Portland Filipino restaurant Sun Rice hosts this brunch-timed market in its next-door event space featuring AANHPI vendors. Part of the proceeds from a special Pokemon-themed dessert from HeyDay and Pokemon-themed drink specials from Nan Chaison will be donated to the Portland Immigrant Rights Coalition to aid in its work helping those affected by amplified ICE activity.

Ongoing

Snow Day Village

11am–7pm daily, Thru Jan 3 | Director Park, 815 SW Park Ave

Downtown's Director Park hosts a holiday shop from local artist Mike Bennett, of cutesy animal "slow down" fame, complete with snail plush toys, giant "mistletoads," a life-size reindeer barn, live music, a Small Business Saturday scavenger hunt, and falling "snow."

Dillon's Sports Emporium

4–7pm Fri, noon–7pm Sat & Sun | Lloyd Center Mall

This Portland Pickles holiday pop-up is "part merch shop, part holiday fever dream," and the amateur baseball team's marketing machine promises "mascot shenanigans." Hours are subject to change.
