Though erected in 1976, Gubanc’s Pub seems like one of those places where your mother ate when she was a kid, and where your grandparents still show up for their 4 PM dinner dates. Picking from over eighty scratch recipes, the kitchen can be counted on for a hearty soup of the day with a baguette, fruit and cheese to round it out. Just like in the old days, time moves slowly, dinners come with starter salads, and newfangled diet terms like Omega–3s and acai berries are not on the menu.
