Portland seems miles away in this world of wacky European vitality and sparkling wine obsession. Wakerhauser has been baking off bon bons and French macarons since she opened in 2001, but in 2012, Pix moved to East Burnside, bringing savory Spanish tapas, an expanded cocktail menu, and a beautiful space to the sweet equation.
