Description

Over a decade ago, Salvador Molly’s started out as a tamale cart at the Portland Farmer’s Market. As demand for the tamales grew, Salvador Molly’s became a small café, and now is a local restaurant serving up food from around the world. The Portland eatery was featured on The Travel Channel’s “Man V. Food” because of their “Great Balls of Fire”—habanero cheese fritters with an almost dangerous level on the Scoville scale (which is used to measure the spicyness of a pepper). The decorations are eccentric and loosely pirate/Caribbean-themed. Get your own smiling mug on the wall by becoming a “King of Heat” with your astounding over consumption of the Great Balls of Fire, or just make your mark by throwing your peanut shells on the ground.
