From silicone pastry brushes to cast-iron Dutch ovens and even something called a Cajun Injector (apparently for squirting marinade under the skin of a bird), Kitchen Kaboodle has, not surprisingly, the whole caboodle. What really makes this the greatest place in Portland for cooks both skilled and unschooled is that it’s a homegrown business that’s sprouted six locations since 1975. That, and the fact that the second-favorite kitchen store in our readers’ survey didn’t even come close.
