Nothing beats the feeling of donating to a worthy cause—but of course, some ways of donating are a lot more fun than others. Case in point: Classic Wines Auction Fall Winemakers Dinners.

The Classic Wines Auction has supported local charities for 30 years, and in that time has helped raise over $30 million! The Winemaker Dinners series—now in its third year—is a mouthwateringly good way to get involved.

This season, guests will enjoy a delicious dinner at one of Portland’s top restaurants while getting to brush elbows with the makers of top-tier wines. Even better? They’ll also be supporting five local non-profits: Metropolitan Family Service, New Avenues for Youth, Friends of the Children-Portland, YWCA Clark County, and Randall Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel.

Want to get in on the action? Don't wait! Many of the dinners have already sold out, but there’s still space available on Tuesday, November 12 at Imperial (with Cristom Vineyards), Sauvage (with Fausse Piste Winery), Urban Farmer (with Domaine Serene Vineyards & Winery) and Wildwood Restaurant (with aMaurice Cellars and Division Winemaking Company), and on Wednesday, November 13 at 23Hoyt (with Sokol Blosser Winery), Andina Restaurant (with Penner-Ash Wine Cellars), Din Din Supper Club (with Phelps Creek Vineyards) and Gruner (with Montinore Estate).

Dinners start at 6:30 and cost $150 per person. Head to the Winemaker Dinners website to purchase reservations for the dinners, and grab a few raffle tickets to win one of three restaurant gift certificate packages. For more information call 503-972-0194.
