VIP screening of PHAME’s new doc, "In This Together," tonight
We just got word that some tickets opened up for tonight’s sold out VIP screening of In This Together, the new documentary about PHAME Academy. Produced by Runaway Mustache Productions, the doc follows the academy’s artists and performers with developmental disabilities as they undertake a 10 city tour, and includes music from local bands Ages and Ages, Laura Gibson, Nick Jaina, Portland Cello Project, Typhoon, and PHAME Music Director Matthew Gailey.
"In This Together asks us to look freshly at what it means to be an artist, and to look more deeply at the very definition of art itself," says PHAME Executive Director Stephen Marc Beaudoin.
Beaudoin’s and Runaway Mustache’s plan is to get the film into festivals, so this is likely the only time you can see it locally until it completes the festival circuit (or comes home for a fest). To snatch those last tickets, call the PHAME office at 503-764-9718.
