Pickathon is coming! Pickathon is coming!

The beloved alt-country/bluegrass/roots weekend campout concert has announced its lineup for 2013. And the roster of performers for the 15th annual event, held on the first weekend in August at the idyllic Pendarvis Farm in Happy Valley is, as usual, amazing. Grammy-nominated singer Feist, Andrew Bird, Kurt Vile, Sharon Van Etten, and Devil Makes Three are some of the marquee attractions to look forward to this year, while hard-working locals like Sallie Ford and the Sound Outside, Old Light, Foghorn String Band, and Pure Bathing Culture will represent hometown power among the 30+ musical acts.

Are rugrats welcome? You bet! Pickathon is known for its family-friendly atmosphere, and with circus camp, kite-making, and other child-centered activities, everyone’s bound to be productively occupied for the duration. There’s music galore for the kiddos, too: Cat Doorman and the Cardboard Songsters are both sure to enchant younger Pickathoners.

Pickathon is happening August 2-4 and it's $260 for a weekend admission pass. Note: parking/camping are subject to additional fees. Tickets and passes on sale now!
