Watch Portugal. The Man Sing Oasis in Bed
Good morning, Portland: For today's early uplift, we bring you Portugal. The Man singing Oasis in bed! That’s right, it’s the return of Bedstock, the annual festival for kids and teens with cancer organized by MyMusicRX, where artists perform from bed to show solidarity for children who have to spend the festive season in theirs.
This year, the online festival—which brings together international artists and started here in Portland—boasts bed-based tunes from the likes of Ed Sheeran, the Breeders, and Ringo Starr.
Since its inception in 2014, Bedstock has featured more than 240 bands and artists, 54 kids, 45 authors (they read stories from bed), and raised more than $170,000 for the Children’s Cancer Association. The #BedstockChallenge, which encourages fans and social media users to post their own Bedstock videos, has seen entries from all over the globe, including from India, Argentina, Germany, and Japan.
