Attention coffee geeks: The second installment of Extracto Coffee opened yesterday next door to Podnah’s Pit at 1465 NE Prescott Street in the Sabin neighborhood. Though not too terribly far from the original Extracto location on NE 30th Avenue and Killingsworth, Extracto 2.0 is smaller, leaner, and in a zone of Northeast Portland where there’s very little competition.

Extracto opened its original location serving Stumptown coffee in 2006, and unveiled its own brand of house-roasted coffee beans called "Cherry" in 2008. The business is owned by Christopher and Celeste Brady.
