Looking for a way to entertain your out-of-town visitors this holiday season? Hundreds of Willamette Valley wineries are throwing Thanksgiving weekend parties—and you’re invited.

For almost three decades, Willamette Valley wineries have come together for an annual Wine Country Thanksgiving weekend event. This year, kick off the winter wine tasting season November 25 through 27 with special events at more than 160 wineries, including many small, family-operated wineries only open to the public for one weekend in November.

Bring your holiday guests and sample just-released 2010 vintages and library wines, chat with the winemakers themselves, nosh on holiday treats, and get in the spirit of giving with discounts on wine club memberships and bottles for everyone on your list.

The full listing of participating wineries can be found here, but I’ve culled a must-do list of my favorite spots for your holiday sipping pleasure.
