Chef Marco Frattaroli has earned a reputation for celebrating the history of Italian cuisine, but this year he’ll be focusing on his own history.

Today marks Bastas’ twentieth anniversary, and throughout the year of 2012, chef/owner Frattaroli will be bringing back specials from the early nineties—along with their original prices.

The "historic" Bastas menu specials will change weekly, starting with this week’s throw-back dish: housemade pancetta and sage-wrapped chicken skewers served over creamy polenta for just $6.95. To stay up to date on future specials and killer deals, follow Bastas Trattoria on Facebook or sign up for the email list at www.bastastrattoria.com.
