Southwest

SW Fourth: Joe’s Burgers is adding a downtown Portland location to their list of outposts, which includes eateries in Bridgeport Village and outer Southwest Portland. The new 52-seat spot at 625 SW Fourth Avenue sits across from Pioneer Place mall, and is set to open at 11 am on Thursday, January 12 with a full menu of burgers, fries, hot dogs, and milkshakes.

Southeast

SE Washington: Olympic Provisions is expanding their brunch service to their flagship location in the Southeast Industrial district (brunch was previously available only at Olympic Provisions NW). Brunch hours at the SE location will begin Sunday, January 8, from 10 am to 3 pm.

Northwest

’Burbs

Gearhart, OR: The next addition to the McMenamins empire will be the 18-room Gearhart Hotel on the Oregon Coast. The hotel will share the building currently occupied by McMenamins’ Sand Trap Pub at the Gearhart Golf Links, and is set to open this Memorial Day Weekend.

Outside the Bubble:

NYC, Lower East Side: Andy Ricker’s first Manhattan eatery Pok Pok Wing officially opened on January 9, featuring the famous fish sauce wings and house-roasted peanuts by the pound. (137 Rivington St. NY, NY)
