Mark your calendars! KitchenCru founder Michael Madigan has set an official opening date for the upcoming Bowery Bagels: June 9th.

As previously reported, the New York-style bagelry will share the NW Broadway space with CruMarket, stocking items made across the street at the shared commercial kitchen. The shop’s bagels will be fermented, boiled, then baked to chewy perfection to satisfy Portland’s savory and sweet bagel cravings.

Can’t wait? The bagel slingers at KitchenCru will continue their pop-up bagel shop at 10 am every Saturday until Bowery opens in June. The bagels will be available at KitchenCru for $1 each (with schmear) or $5 for a half-dozen to-go, while supplies last.
