After landing Bon Appetit as a media partner, the team behind Feast Portland is quickly filling the festival’s long-weekend lineup with national culinary VIPs. The latest to be confirmed? New York Times food writer and cookbook author Mark Bittman.

The celebrated author of the modern classic How to Cook Everything and the ethical-eating guide Food Matters will speak at Feast as a part of the Literary Arts fall lecture series on Thursday, September 20th at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall at 7:30 pm.

According to Feast co-founder and national food publicist maven Carrie Welch, the Feast team is hoping to spotlight Bittman in an as-yet-unconfirmed panel discussion. Stay tuned for more Feast news as it comes rolling in.
