SE Division: Beginning today, Mi Mero Mole will open early and offer a happy hour menu from 4 to 5:30 pm, Tuesday through Friday. Discount dishes are set to include $2 fried meat tacos, $3.50 plantain empanadas, and $2 chips and salsa in addition to HH pricing on cocktails and upcoming happy hour-only specials (think bacon-wrapped hot dogs and ceviche). 5026 Southeast Division Street
SE 7th: The Aussie transplants at Pacific Pie Co. will be featured on the Cooking Channel’s Unique Eats program at 7 pm this Sunday, June 10th. The episode will profile Nostalgic Noshes, and to celebrate, Pacific Pie Company will host a viewing party with free sparkling Aussie wine and discounted savory pies starting at 6 pm. 1520 SE 7th Ave
SE Hawthorne: Cozy neighborhood spot Otto has announced extended hours and breakfast service featuring dishes like strawberry and rhubarb pancakes, breakfast burritos, and veggie hash. The mid-century modern space will now be open seven days a week starting at 8 am. 1852 SE Hawthorne Blvd

SW Taylor: The Downtown outpost of California-based vegan fast food chain Veggie Grill opened this week with an expanded menu. This is their second location in the Portland area, as the chain debuted at Beaverton’s Cedar Hills Crossing early this year. 508 SW Taylor St
SW Salmon: Aaron and Jessica Grimmer’s Picnic House is now open for fast-casual lunch service, featuring soups, salads, and sandwiches for eat in and take out for working neighbors, as well as dinner service with large and small plates. Northwest
NW 11th: Jamison, the latest project from Davis Street Tavern’s Christopher Handford and Blake Smith, will open in the former Fenouil space on June 27th. The large, natural light-filled restaurant has been outfitted with over 6,000 feet of salvaged wood from a barn in Beaver Creek and will echo the green and grey colors of neighboring Jamison Square. 900 NW 11th Ave.
NW Thurman: Local deli king Ken Gordon has announced that the Kenny & Zuke’s NW Sandwichworks location will be transformed into Bagelworks, complete with a new bagel oven, in late June. The bagerly menu will include $1.35 bagels, plain and flavored cream cheeses, smoked fish, bagel sandwiches, breakfast specials, in addittion to classic deli dishes from the flagship K&Z location. 2376 NW Thurman St.
NW Couch: The 6000-square-foot 80s and 90s danceclub and bar Jones Bar opened this week in the former McFadden’s space. The club’s diner-inspired menu will offer late-night breakfast nosh, chicken-fried steak, and smoked meat slides care of Big-Ass Sandwiches’ Brian Wood. 107 NW Couch St.
