Chef Studio Mentor Dinners Continue

Portland's Chef Studio is once again proving it takes a village to raise a chef.
In celebration of the life and passion of Robert Reynolds—a founding father of Portland's food scene who passed away in August—the team behind the southeast Portland culinary school is rekindling their successful Mentor Dinner Series this fall.
The first set of dinners in the series took place this summer, bringing together top Portland chefs and the culinary greats who trained them, and the second round of celebratory dinners will showcase three stars of the PDX dining scene who had the opportunity to learn from Reynolds himself.
Continuing the theme of collaboration, the intimate fall Mentor Dinner Series will be prepared by the guest chef with help from current and former students of the Chef Studio, and proceeds from the dinners will support the Robert Reynolds Chef Studio Scholarship Fund to support the next generation of local culinary talent.
This season's Sunday Suppers at the Studio will feature Chef Patrick McKee of Paley’s Place on October 21st, chef David Padberg of the soon-to-open Raven & Rose (formerly of Park Kitchen) on November 4th, and hef Ben Meyer of Grain and Gristle on November 11th.
The $55 ticket price includes three courses, wine pairings, and gratuity, and dinners will take place at the cozy Chef Studio at 2818 SE Pine St. To reserve your spot, head to the Chef Studio website or call 503-753-1655.
