Leslie Palmer and Gary Kneski, the husband-and-wife team behind Southwest Portland's eight-year-old Thirst Bistro, are giving the former Carafe Bistro/Market Restaurant space another go. Bistro Marquee opened on May 20, and Palmer and Kneski are keeping things simple: catering to the neighborhood by offering approachable fare from former Screen Door and Mother’s Bistro chef Rick Widmayer, a loaded Happy Hour, prix fixe menus on show nights at the neighboring Keller Auditorium, and a pretty great burger.
