Wildwood's Wood Room

luxe: The kind of upscale dining establishment that won’t make grandpa complain about exposed lightbulbs and loud music

This farm-to-table eatery is a little bit French, a little bit Italian, and very Portland, using local, organic ingredients to create decadent meals. The private Kindling Room can be rented for dinners or cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. 1001 SE Water Ave; 503-235-2294

Genoa provides classic Italian cuisine delivered in a modern Pacific Northwest fashion. The private dining area can seat up to 18 guests. 2832 SE Belmont St; 503-238-1464

For a bit of local flavor, try Paley’s Place. The back room of this converted Victorian house can be reserved for parties of up to 24. 1204 NW 21st Ave; 503-243-2403

Hip enough for you but classic enough for your grandparents, Wildwood has two private dining spaces for small to medium-sized parties. The ever-changing menu offers seasonal, often local foods for every palate. 1221 NW 21st Ave; 503-248-9663

Jake’s Grill
