Produce Row is no stranger to reinvention. The once-divey bar opened on SE Oak Street in 1974 to cater to the riverside warehouse district's workingman crowd, and got a 21st-century makeover (and killer patio) when Alan Davis reimagined the restaurant in 2010. Now, as Davis's new project—the buzzy Multnomah Whiskey Library—draws crowds across the river, the executive chef of both hotspots is bringing new energy to the eastside's early urban pioneer with an expanded menu launching this week.
