Despite a record snow storm, freezing rain that shut down most of Portland's public transit system, and a city full of drivers afraid to brave the slick roads (myself included), the inaugural Chef’s Week PDX was a smash hit—and my 48-hour food coma can prove it. The chef-centric mini food festival—which brought together 22 of the best chefs from California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, and British Colombia for a four-day series of sold-out dinners and after parties—wrapped up on Sunday, February 9 with a show-stopping 20-course marquee meal paired with the epic views from Departure's sky-high dining room.
