Continuing a long-standing summer kick-off tradition, wineries across the Willamette Valley will raise their glasses to the start of growing season this Memorial Day Weekend, May 24-26.  Together with the Willamette Valley Wineries Association, more than 150 wineries and tasting rooms will open their doors to tasters for the long weekend, showing off barrel samples, vineyard tours, and library bottles from years past.

The celebratory weekend will be packed with art displays, fun food pairings, and special interactions with some of the regions top wine makers. Many smaller producers will also open their doors for a rare peak at their winemaking process and special sips of their best wines. So pack up your picnic baskets and prep your palettes for a weekend full of tasting in the valley!

Want to get a head start on planning your sun-filled Memorial Day weekend itinerary? Head to the Willamette Valley Wineries Association’s website for more details on the wineries and all that the Memorial Day Weekend celebration has to offer.
