Slide Show: Inside Hawthorne’s Farina Bakery
On November 6th, Southeast Portland’s Farina Bakery opened its doors inside the former Otto/ Sel Gris/Fin space. Laura Farina, a young baker who learned her craft at Northwest Portland’s Nuvrei Bakery, focuses on the Parisian macaron (pronounced mah-kah-ron), a meringue-based confection with buttery, manifold fillings.
