Portland’s Broth Bar Grand Opening and Free Bone Broth
What: Broth Bar, a new restaurant by Salt, Fire and Time, will be serving samples of house-made bone broth (“an integral element of good health and healing”) as well as kombucha and nourishing snacks to celebrate their grand opening. Broth Bar will serve a variety of bone ambrosias ranging from stalwart chicken to bison and lamb.

Dollar Oysters at Ringside Fish House
What: In honor of National Oyster Day, Ringside Fish House will be serving the briny gems for $1 all day this Wednesday. Wash them down with some bubbly or a tasty house cocktail.

Free Bread From Dave’s Killer Bread
What: Dave’s Killer Bread is celebrating their 10th anniversary (aptly dubbed “Second Chances Day”) by giving the people what they want: free carbs! Two thousand organic loaves of the beloved local bread will be given out at the Portland Farmer’s Market (limit one per family). Festivities will also include live music, a free PBJ bar, and lots of prizes to be won.

“Nostalgic Summer” Dinner at The Side Yard Farm
What: Seven area chefs from the likes of Beast, DOC, and Grain & Gristle, collaborate on a multi-course, communal dinner inspired by their childhood memories of summer and food. Hosted by local urban farm and supper club, The Side Yard, the meal will also feature cocktails from Dogwood Distillery.
Where: The Side Yard Farm and Kitchen, 4800 NE Simpson

North American Organic Brewers Festival
What: The only all-organic beer festival in the world is held in our very own Portland, Oregon. In addition to the 60 plus beers, ciders, meads, and braggots (a mixture of beer, mead, spices, and herbs that dates back to ye olde days), the festival also offers live music and tasty, organic food.
