Timbers Defender Liam Ridgewell Brewed a Beer

He may be injured right now, but there's no reason you can't brew a beer. Portland Timbers central defender Liam Ridgewell—famous for his goal celebrations, shirtless Lake Oswego boating days, and generally improving the team's defense—collaborated with Hopworks Urban Brewery to create Ridgy's Royall Boat beer, a summery, easy-drinking session ale.
The pic says it all. And hopefully the Ridgy Royall Beer will be just as good. Coming soon August7th @HopworksBeer pic.twitter.com/Yp9sVlIZ3Y

You can taste the beer—and possibly meet the man himself—on Sunday, August 7 at HUB on SE Powell.
Depending on how the Timbers fare against Sporting Kansas City in a critical home game at Providence Park earlier that day, you might need more than one.
