These 86 names represent the top 5 percent of this year’s nominees; they are the professionals to call, their colleagues say, if you want your wellness in great hands.

METHODOLOGY: Using an online survey system, Portland Monthly solicited peer nominations from professional complementary medicine providers in Multnomah, Washington, and Clackamas Counties. To ensure that the nomination process was peer-based, survey participants provided full contact information before nominating up to three names per practice area. Portland Monthly then tallied the results, selecting the top 5 percent of vote recipients in each practice area before submitting the final list to our fact-checking process.
