To celebrate Organically Grown in Oregon Week, Luscher Farm in Lake Oswego is hosting an open house and plant sale this weekend. Fine regional nurseries and horticultural vendors will sell plants and garden art. There will be tours of Luscher Farms’ Rogerson Clematis Collection greenhouses and display gardens; home-made smoothie-making with farm-grown ingredients; and activities in the children's garden and outdoor classroom areas, with healthy snacks to taste. OSU Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer gardening questions.

This year’s plant and garden art vendors include:

Oh Grow Up – functional and fabulous garden art

Joy Creek Nursery – specializes in clematis, hydrangeas, hardy fuchsias, drought-tolerant plants and more

Xera Plants – carries one of the widest selections around of crape myrtles, manzanitas, hebes, salvias, kniphofias, and a vast range of drought-tolerant plants

Gossler Farms – a specialist in woody plants including magnolias, winter-flowering plants and Asian shrubs

Fancy Fronds – carries an incredible range of ferns for every imaginable condition, including many rare and unusual species

FarmMade – a website designed to facilitate shopping for handmade, vintage, unique, edible and other “farmer-made” goods

Heavy Petal Nursery – woody plants including stunning hardy hibiscus
