On November 12, the ninth annual Light A Fire Awards dinner honored individuals and organizations whose acts of service embody Portland’s spirit of giving and who make our region a better place to live, love and grow. Together with over four hundred attendees, Portland Monthly awarded over $4,600 to OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital through a random drawing of raffle proceeds and an event proceed check of $10,000 to The Children’s Book Bank. The evening’s entertainment included Laura Gibson, members of PHAME Academy, Pacific Youth Choir, Portland Gay Men’s Chorus and Ghosts like us. Presented by: Bank of America & Merrill Lynch
