We Could Watch Portland Timbers Goalscorer Dairon Asprilla Break the Laws of Physics All Day

The Portland Timbers are 90 minutes away from their first-ever trip to the MLS Cup Final—and first top-division championship match in 40 years. (We all remember Soccer Bowl '75, right?) A 3-1 Timbers victory in the opening leg of a two-match series with FC Dallas means the Texas club needs something special next weekend to keep Portland out of the final. (Thanks to the magic of soccer's traditional away-goals tiebreaker, the most straightforward path for Dallas would be a 2-0 win, which would eliminate the Timbers.)

Meanwhile, win or lose, we will savor this incredible goal by Dairon Asprilla, one of the Timbers' Colombian midfield talents, for a long time.
