Declan O’Connor After growing up in Ireland and finishing college there I decided in 1993 to move to America. In Ireland I studied Construction Economics at Bolton St. University for four years and I worked with a company building new homes for three years. In Portland I owned my own bar and restaurant for seven years and also had a construction company for four years. Having an all-around experience in building new homes and remodeling old ones, along with the experience of dealing with all different kinds of people has really helped pave the way for my real estate career… These things have really helped in my career with both buyers and sellers by identifying potential issues a home may have and in getting homes ready for the market.
