Accounting Assistant
Kevin greets visitors at our SagaCity Media Portland headquarters as the office’s superstar receptionist and accounting clerk. He has been a consistent member of the SagaCity family since 2005, when he was hired as drag queen Poison Waters to emcee Portland Monthly’s Single’s Auction benefit for Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Kevin began his current position in the spring of 2014, which ranges from many essential accounting tasks and processes, from self-proclaimed office manager to company cheerleader. His SagaCity resume includes stints as executive assistant to the publisher (06-09) and accounts receivable (12-13), as well as offical emcee for most of Portland Monthly’s nonprofit events and parties, including the launch parties of Seattle Met, Seattle Met Bride & Groom, and Houstonia.
Kevin is also the co-host of the longest running drag show in the country, Darcelle XV in Old Town, as serves as the Volunteer Camp Director for Camp KC (Kids Connection) a program of Cascade AIDS Project that provides a weeklong summer camp for children ages 5-15 whose lives are affected by HIV/AIDS. He lives with his partner in the historic Boise-Elliott neighborhood.
