For this ultimate community event, Portland Monthly took over the city’s newest high-rise, Park Avenue West, to gather local nonprofits, business leaders, and our devoted readers for cocktails, bites, and the opportunity to support the nonprofit organizations dedicated to making Portland better for us all.

Featuring a VIP cocktail reception on the 19th floor for our Faces of Portland advertisers, 2016 “Oregon Women” subjects, and the opportunity to recognize the individuals and organizations responsible for Park Avenue West. Presented by First Republic Bank and supported by TMT Development, TVA Architects, and Mitchell Gold & Bob Williams, the reception featured music by Boy and Bean and a temporary art installation designed by our very own Marketing & Events Team – Emily Wyant, Leslie Vigeant, and Cheyne Brooking.

Down on the sixth floor, 750+ people roamed unit to unit, connecting with our nonprofit beneficiaries – Green Building Initiative, Portland Neighborhood Emergency Team (NET), New Avenues for Youth, and CASA for Children of Multnomah, Washington, and Columbia Counties –while sipping cocktails and mingling throughout the night. To raise funds for our nonprofit partners, attendees had the opportunity to purchase a $25 raffle ticket for our Chair-Ity Auction, featuring 4 chairs donated by West Elm, Roche Bobois, Mitchell Gold & Bob Williams, and Perch Furniture. In addition to a designer chair, prize packages included a night in Park Avenue West's guest suites, a weekend in a Vacasa Vacation Rental, and an Audi for a weekend!
