Meet Jill and Greg. Residing in their waterfront condo neighboring the Broadway Bridge, they find themselves constantly asking the same question, “Which restaurant do we want to go to tonight?”. Living in the heart of Portland seems to bring these debates to the table. Who has the best happy hour? Has that new brunch place opened yet? “I like good dry martini’s and manhattans, Jill likes French 75’s and a nice glass of wine. We absolutely love food and happy hours! That’s why we enjoy going out dining and traveling so much. She’s strictly vegetarian and I’m strictly a carnivore. We’re totally compatible!”

While choosing where to eat is difficult for any couple to settle on, choosing where to get modern furniture was much easier for Jill and Greg. For Jill it’s all about the clean, uncluttered look. “Our taste in decor just progressed toward modern design. Plus our son who was in college was into design too. We got into it alongside him. When we walked over to Hip’s showroom, we were amazed by the variety of their selection. We downsized considerably when we moved to Portland and Hip was so helpful finding the perfect pieces for our smaller space!”
