Colon cancer has claimed the lives of nearly 700 Portlanders over the past year alone and on June 17^th hundreds of Portland residents will bring awareness to this disease and to their city though the annual Undy Run/Walk 5K. Instead of typical running gear, attendees rock a variety of eye-catching attire, including themed underwear or boxers, frilly tutus, super hero capes, and head-to-toe costumes. A fun and clever twist on a serious topic, the Undy Run/Walk helps to spark much needed conversations about the disease.
