Guests can book a massage or facial, practice yoga on the beach, or sweat it out on a cutting-edge Peloton bike (with live-streaming cycling classes available 24/7.) A world-class meal can be an adventure of its own. Headland’s emphasis on casual elegance is embodied in their restaurant, Meridian. In addition to the local fishing fleet providing the freshest seafood imaginable, chef Andrew Garrison and staff use locally-sourced, hyper-seasonal ingredients throughout the menu. Not to mention, all bread and pastries are baked fresh in-house. Although the kitchen turns out these high-quality dishes in a luxurious oceanview dining room, no one will shun you for showing up to dine in your beach clothes.

It’s not only about big adventures; the staff at Headlands pays attention to the details too. In place of the overpriced, and underwhelming, vending machine snacks at most hotels, you’ll find an honor-system pantry on every floor stocked with unique, reasonably-priced local treats, like Goofy Foot’s spiced pretzels and iconic Tillamook ice cream, along with glass water bottles you can refill with still or sparkling water throughout your stay.
