Stay, Play, Ski and Unwind at Tetherow this Fall and Winter!

As golfers scramble to get in their last rounds before winter delivers its first snowfall, Tetherow offers an enticing Stay & Play package to help round out this year’s handicaps. Starting at just $199 per night for two people, packages are customizable based on how many rounds guests want to play and how many nights guests want to stay, with a savings of up to 35%.

Located in Bend’s backyard, Tetherow offers one of the top 100 courses in the country (currently at #63), with an award-winning, unique and challenging layout designed by David McLay Kidd, the brilliant mastermind behind Bandon Dunes and the Castle Course in Scotland.

Head Golf Pro Jake Edwards touts the pure natural links course style, surrounding fescue grass, and beautiful scenery as among many reasons Tetherow is the premier course in the northwest. Says Edwards, “the course provides a seamless routing exemplified by the unmatched natural beauty of Central Oregon.”
Tetherow also boasts the largest fleet of GolfBoards in the world, which makes golfing an adventure, no matter what the score card reads.

Recent guest Jason Hurley, Vice President-Financial Advisor at Wells Fargo Advisors, agrees. “It is a very challenging course, but with the golf boards, the scenery, and the course design, it was the best round I had all year.”
Adds Edwards, “our Stay & Play package is a great way to experience the Resort as a whole and receive benefits by utilizing Tetherow Sport like a member.” Tetherow also offers the convenience of bag storage pre and post golf rounds.
Located just minutes from downtown Bend, Tetherow embodies the laid-back vibe of Central Oregon while simultaneously offering an abundance of outdoor activities and indulgent luxury accommodations.

“We are a full service resort minutes away from Bachelor - where other resorts are 30-45 min. away from downtown Bend, Tetherow is a destination resort with close proximity to a thriving culture of arts, outdoor activities, restaurants, breweries, and skiing,” says Loy Helmly, Lodging General Manager.

Tetherow offers 50 hotel rooms and exceptional staycation accommodations, with vacation home rentals that each have four to five bedrooms and bathrooms for extra privacy when traveling as a group. Homes are well equipped with kitchen essentials for cozy culinary indoor evenings during winter months.

Each house has a patio area with a BBQ, a hot tub for soaking up stress, and a fire pit for nightly gatherings under a bright, star-lit sky. Most homes also have a balcony with panoramic views of a magnificent winter sky.
Onsite restaurants accommodate all culinary needs, from a casual 19th hole and apres-ski favorite, to a foodie’s destination.

With a dozen locally made beers on tap, a well thought through menu of unique bites, and the best burger in Bend, The Row offers a lively vibe of loyal locals who descend there post golf or a day on the mountain. Solomon’s offers a rotating menu of Pacific Northwest highlights, from seafood to elk, perfect for the resort guest who craves exquisite culinary creations.

Bend is world renowned for its skiing and snowboarding community, with Mt. Bachelor reigning supreme as one of six of the biggest ski areas in the United States. With an annual snowfall of 462 inches, Bachelor is the perfect spot to catch that first powder of the season.

Tetherow also offers shuttle service for a small fee of $10 to Bachelor, as well as a can’t miss Stay & Ski package.

Tetherow’s golf course is open through November 1 and is taking tee times now. Bachelor opens for winter skiing and snowboarding Thanksgiving weekend.
