Dr. Mila Ioussifova, OD
Dr. Mila Ioussifova is a residency-trained optometrist with a diverse background and training in comprehensive eye care. A graduate with honors from New England College of Optometry, Dr. Mila’s approach to patient care is systemic with an emphasis on ocular nutrition and disease prevention. Dr. Mila specializes in diagnosing and treating dry eye disease; she often treats patients with moderate to severe conditions, referred to her by other eye care providers. She finds it very rewarding to address the cause of dry eye and offer relief to patients suffering from this chronic and progressive disease. With the new diagnostic and treatments options, she is a firm believer in recognizing the risk factors, diagnosis early and offering recommendations that help prevent the disease from progressing.

Dr. Mila Ioussifova has an ongoing involvement in clinical education, didactics and training of future optometrists at Pacific University College of Optometry. She is a frequent public speaker and educator on eye and prevention, and has served as an examiner of candidates for the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. Dr. Mila has devoted her optometry practice at South Waterfront Eye Care to studying the most effective, cutting edge treatments for dry eye disease such as Intense Pulsed Light Therapy TM, LipiFlow, TrueTear®, BlephEx®, MiboFlow Treatment and Prokera amniotic membrane treatment.
