Mark Your Calendar for the First Weekend of October Now!

Presented by Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Portland September 20, 2019

The reimagined Portland Fall Home & Garden Show returns to the Portland Expo Center Thursday, October 3 through Sunday, October 6.  Fall is the perfect time to plan your next home project, and the Portland Fall Home & Garden is the perfect spot to find inspiration (and the help to make it a reality). Visit this year’s fall show - see new exhibitors in first-time appearances at this revamped show. With its new vibe and enhanced Portland-based exhibitors, this Fall Home & Garden Show is worth visiting.

Collaborative Design Spaces
Newly added local Portland home décor and design partners like Urbanite, Salvage Works, Miller Paint, City Home, Rejuvenation Hardware and Cargo will collaborate to create inspirational spaces for showgoers as a highlight of this year’s event. Collaborators like Salvage Works partnered with Rejuvenation, Lapchi Rugs and Revive Design and Upholstery for example, to design and hand-craft an inspirational space filled with custom furniture and pieces curated just for this show. “The visionary craftsmanship and passion going into this fall show is unparalleled to anything we have seen at prior fall shows. We expect these collaborative design spaces will do more than inspire – people will likely be asking, how do I get that!?,” said Rachel Trice, Vice President Marketing & Events, Home Builders Association of Metro Portland, producers of the Fall Home and Garden Show.

Serving Up Style Vignettes
Also added back to the show, is the wildly popular Serving Up Style, a display of home design vignettes curated by local Portland interior designers. This year’s vignettes will feature eight different rooms of an entire house to showcase the latest trends in local interior design. Serving Up Style was a popular feature many years ago before it ended its run, but it now returns in 2019 as a featured attraction, with room to grow and expand further in future years.

Oregon State University Master Gardeners Presentations & Demos
The massive garden displays of the spring show won’t be on display, guests can still expect to find plant sellers and garden inspiration at this fall show. Oregon State University Master Gardeners will be on the main stage throughout the show sharing gardening tips and tricks including how to put your garden to bed for the winter to fall vegetable gardening ideas to creating hanging baskets and containers that will warm your winter home.

Kids Zone presented by Portland Parent Magazine
Bring the kids to the show to enjoy the Portland Parent Magazine Kids Zone featuring hands-on activities including the Portland Insectatirum, a pop-up bug museum and zoo! Bricks and Minifigs will also showcase their impressive collection of LEGOs for children to create their own home and garden inspirations.
