Spacious location on the PSU campus

New for 2021, the popular festival has moved to Portland State University’s Viking Pavilion for the Festival’s 41st year. Stroll through this vast, airy, light-filled space and find the perfect gift or something to delight yourself, with proceeds benefiting Portland Audubon’s education and conservation efforts.

Presented by Backyard Bird Shop, the Wild Arts Festival boasts dozens of artists including jewelry designers, painters, printmakers and sculptors, plus glass, wood, fiber art and ceramic artists.  Although their media differ greatly, they all celebrate the natural world by featuring:

  • Nature or wildlife as a subject,
  • Natural materials as medium, or
  • Art promoting environmental sustainability

Grab the opportunity to meet and chat with  impressive Northwest authors scheduled to autograph books from Noon to 4 p.m. each day. You’ll find some of the best local and regional authors specializing in nature, birds, hiking, history, books for kids, and books that illuminate living in Oregon and the Pacific Northwest.

Celebrating Safely

The health and safety of everyone at the Festival is our top priority. We have implemented safety protocols including requiring proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a recent negative PCR test and mask wearing to ensure the event is as safe as possible. Timed entry tickets also provide more opportunity to spread out in the large pavilion and enjoy the Festival comfortably. The Pavilion has extremely high ceilings and is nearly 34,000 square feet of open space.
